The Annual International Congress of Doctoral Students (CAIED; formerly known as CAED) is an annual international academic event that aims to promote the meeting and interdisciplinary exchange of scientific knowledge among doctoral students from different universities. CAIED was born as an initiative promoted by the Vice-Rectorate for Research of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) but is open to the participation of doctoral students from any university.
The CAIED aims to serve as a meeting point for young researchers both at the beginning and at the end of their doctoral studies, regardless of the area of knowledge of their scientific interest. Thus, CAIED is configured as a space for discussion, collaboration, and exchange of ideas among researchers. The ultimate goal of CAIED is to enrich the research experience of doctoral students from different parts of the world.
Contrarily to the last year, this second edition of the Congress will be held in one and a half days: February 3-4, 2022. Due to the COVID-19 situation, which is still affecting some territories, it will continue to be held online, specifically through the teleconference platform Google Meet. The Organization will provide registrants with links to the different rooms where the presentations will be held in due time. The CAIED is organized and coordinated by the UMH Vice-Rectorate for Research in collaboration with the representatives of the different Doctoral Programs of the UMH.
